It seems kind of stupid to go after the manufacturers when stores that illegally sell them to kids is how the devices are finding their way into kid's hands. If they're going to go after anyone, it would make more sense to go after the stores that illegally sell them to kids instead of hammering the manufacturers.

After 40 years of smoking, finally thanks to vaping I’m free from cigarettes. Take away vaping will force me back to tobacco. But that would be perfect for the tobacco industry. Why not do like we have done in EU? Separate the e-liquid and nicotine. And that professor talk about flavors as something bad. I have now gone from nicotine to just e-liquid with flavors. The flavor keeps my brain from wanting to use tobacco. Should I be forced to vape some liquid that tastes tobacco? Stupid!

I smoked for 15 years, I vaped for 2 years, and now I don't smoke or vap. Vaping was the reason why I stopped smoking. Seems like tobacco companies have donated more to the republican slush fund so Vaping companies will go out of business.

Old guy here: I tried patches, pills, even hypnosis, nothing worked for me; vaping allowed me to quit smoking cigarettes after 25 years smoking and imo it saved my life. Fuck this guy.

Here we go again – the GOP Admin who backs a criminal president attacking Americans and an industry that helped me and millions of those like me quit smoking. If Gottlieb wins what will the youth of America do instead of vaping? Smoke cigarettes again. I will for sure. I was a hard core smoker and I knew when I was 15 that I would never quit. I like smoking that much. Vaping allowed me to still smoke without burning the harmful paper and nylon products being inhaled through cotton. Plus the fact that I accidentally ordered a bottle of oil (lasting me 3 months or more) that had zero nicotine and I didn't notice it for 2 months! No withdrawals or health problems. Now i vape with no nicotine and I challenge my fellow vapers to try it too. The Trump Admin has targeted Americans as a way of diverting our attention away from his criminal investigations underway by the whole of American justice and we all know it. The 60 day limit and the conclusion 5 days AFTER the midterms proves it. All the many, many diversions must be working. Look at how many millions still think Trump's a good guy. Now there's something worse than smoking!

I am in the UK and this was a fear here. The Government did a huge research survey and found that it did not have an impact on children and did not, in general, encourage them to take it up. It did however reduce the level smoking cigarettes in the country to an all time low. I myself was a heavy smoker and was barely able to walk up a flight of stairs without panting for breath. I am now vaping and have just (yesterday) run 5000m. I don't for one moment think that vaping is "safe" for me but my own experience tells me that it is better than cigarettes. Life itself is a risk. There are pollutants everywhere. The secret is to minimise that risk and stop trying to debate wether vaping is safe or not. No one can say… but it is definitely safer than cigarettes!

People kieep commenting that they quit cigarettes because of vaping. But can they quit vaping? That is the real question. Changing your delivery system does not change what you are delivering. Just get off of nicotine altogether, because no addiction is healthy. It's bad enough that people take caffeine addiction so lightly.

Long ago I stopped believing anything the DEA said. Why anyone would listen to them is beyond me. They made marijuana illegal after alcohol was made legal to KEEP THEIR FUNDING. Just read history. The use of cannabis and other drugs came under increasing scrutiny after the formation of the Federal Bureau of Narcotics (which was the forerunner of the DEA) in 1930, which was headed by Harry J. Anslinger. They had lost funding due to the repeal of prohibition and needed a new 'evil drug' to insure funding. They have KEPT marijuana illegal even thought they know it is not harmful. Notice how they NEVER look at new or more protections against alcohol even though alcohol kills FAR MORE PEOPLE then cigarettes, vaping or marijuana.

I am 48 years old and have been completely tobacco free for 6 months now!!! Thank god for my vape!!!! I only wish they would have had the choice for vapes years ago instead of the disgusting TOBACCO which WILL KILL you!!!!! But now I will live a much happier and content complete life ❤
