While Microsoft themselves have not updated their Xbox Online status page, plenty of gamers are reporting problems with their Xbox One tonight.
According to those affected, Xbox Live is down, with many customers left unable to sign in, and instead of gaining access to their games, they are finding an error code flashing up.
The 0x87dd0006 error message is apparently hitting players across the world right now.
Some players are also reporting problems trying to play their games on the Windows 10 platform.
“Was working fine last night but I can’t sign in now. Can’t even play Forza Horizon 3 at all without signing in on Windows 10 Pro,” one user reports.
Outage maps are showing reports from players in both European countries and the United States.
The tech giant haven’t revealed what is causing tonight’s disruption, although fans are hoping it won’t last much longer.
The next step will be to monitor the official Xbox Live status support page, which should be updated if the outage continues.
Social and gaming services are said to be the worst hit, with key core services like In-game matchmaking and cloud storage probably offline.
