Apex Legends players are set for some fresh content with a major overhaul incoming to the first-person shooter. A whole new season is coming soon with plenty for gamers to get to grips with.

Developers Respawn have made substantial alterations to multiple characters as part of the new update. Season 28: Breach has new weapons, upgrades and some behind-the-scenes tweaks. And, of course, there’s also the new battle pass.

One character who’s had a major update is Fuse. He has received an overhauled Ultimate ability and now launches a mortar that detonates on impact with the ground before dispersing smaller explosives.

This enhancement will enable Fuse to dominate larger areas.

Respawn will also debut a new Hardlight mesh system within the Apex Legends universe. Hardlight is described as functioning like destructible and penetrable windows.

Whilst players can observe through the Hardlight windows whilst remaining protected, the material can also be shattered. It will automatically regenerate after some time, and can be strengthened for extra defence, reports the Mirror.
