Brooklyn Beckham accused his mum Victoria of ‘humiliating’ him as she hit the dance floor while at his wedding with billionaire heiress, Nicola Peltz, but no phones were allowed at the venue
Footage has emerged of Victoria Beckham showing off her dance moves at a party following the release of her son’s nuclear statement.
Previously, 26-year-old Brooklyn levelled accusations against the mother-of-four, 51, claiming she was “dancing inappropriately” during his lavish wedding to billionaire heiress Nicola Peltz, 31. In a bombshell revelation, Brooklyn alleged that the former Spice Girl “hijacked” his first dance, which was meant to be shared with his bride.
Since then, Victoria’s tendency to hit the dance floor has come under close scrutiny. The self confessed dancing fan Victoria has been filmed several times showing her moves and now fans have shared a video with her fellow Spice Girls at a party. However, it has been reported that phones were banned from the ceremony.
In it, fellow Spice Girl Geri Halliwell can be seen in a white dress urging her fellow bandmates to dance around her. The group were all singing and dancing wildly – appearing to be reliving their youth in a dance club.
Victoria, who donned a black slip dress similar to the one she wore to Brooklyn’s wedding, was dancing wildly while singing. Far from “inappropriate”, Posh looked to be having a ball.
Mel C and Emma Bunton were also close by, dancing in a similar fashion.
Posted on Instagram, Spice Girls fan branded the post as “girl power” and added: “we love it when you dance, Victoria”.
Someone else posted: “Love this! Best post I’ve seen all day!! Spice dancing queens!” Another added: “things we love to see”.
Brooklyn targeted particularly harsh accusations at Victoria – accusing her of “humiliating” him.
He fumed: “In front of our 500 wedding guests, Marc Anthony called me to the stage, where in the schedule I.T. was planned to be my romantic dance with my wife but instead my mum was waiting to dance with me instead.
“She danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone. I’ve never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life.”
Victoria has remained silent on the allegations, though supporters have since unearthed clips of her dancing at family gatherings over the years, with one suggesting the ex-Spice Girl is simply ‘your average mum after a few wines’.
Posting a compilation of the fashion mogul showing off her moves at the seaside, on dance floors and at a family celebration with youngest son Cruz – and daughter-in-law Nicola – where the style icon appears to be enjoying herself – one supporter commented: “It just doesn’t make sense to me that VB is out there dancing inappropriately. The woman is your average mother after a few too many videos.”
About the wedding, a Page Six source said: “Victoria got up on stage and wrapped her arms around Brooklyn” and “nuzzled into his neck,” adding “She was dancing with him very inappropriately. She took that moment from Nicola, that is the God’s truth.”
While the Beckhams have not elaborated further, Brooklyn has said he has no desire to “reconcile” with his family.
