Philadelphia 76ers player Adem Bona was the victim of a brutal prank this week as his teammates were left in hysterics.

Bona, a Nigerian-born big man, played his first NBA season with Philly last season as he appeared in 58 games.

But as teammate Andre Drummond claimed online, Bona is still a rookie until his second season starts, and his Sixers teammates had one more big prank in store for him as his car was filled with popcorn.

As seen in a TikTok posted by Drummond, one of the tires from Bona’s car was also removed and placed on his chair in the locker room.

‘This is what happens when you don’t follow instructions,’ Drummond said as he recorded the tire.

Drummond then recorded a dismayed Bona at practice, as the latter said he was no longer a rookie.

Drummond added that somebody told Bona to ‘get off the table,’ as Joel Embiid cracked up in the background.

‘What they do to you, bro?’, Drummond also asked.

The veteran then took a trip to see Bona’s car with Kelly Oubre as the pair gleefully scooped some popcorn into their mouths.

Drummond also jokingly warned rookie V.J. Edgecombe that he was ‘next’ if he didn’t follow instructions.

Bona’s second season will officially begin next Wednesday as the Sixers travel to Boston to face the Celtics.

He had a promising rookie year as he averaged 5.8 points and 4.2 rebounds per night while shooting 70.3 percent from the field.

However, it was a down year for the Sixers as Joel Embiid, Paul George and Jared McCain all missed plenty of time with injuries.

Philly ultimately finished with a surprising 24-58 record and landed the No. 3 pick in the draft lottery – which they used to select Edgecombe.

Embiid is still working his way back from knee surgery he underwent in April, while George and McCain will also miss opening night.
