Next Renato Sanches, flop who ends up at Swansea city or some other lower level team in 2 years. U don’t pay $126M when strikers like Harry Kane, Icardi, and others are being valued around that price. I love the Portuguese league, but scoring 20 goals there is not an accomplishment, Bas Dost and old ass Jonas scores over 30 each a couple seasons ago, I guess they must be worth $200M. No common sense used by teams in the market anymore

It's not really a gamble when you have nothing to win:
Best case scenario he DOES turn out to be the 5th best player in the world and you just paid what he is (will be) worth for him. No gain.
Worst case scenario he flops and you just wasted a massive amount of money. Big loss.
Realistic scenario he proves to be somewhat decent and Atletico paid €126 mln for a player that is (will be) worth around €50 mln. Moderate loss.

This is not a gamble, this is a prayer.
